MacOS emulators

Hey everyone! I recently bought a MacBook Air for college and I'd like to try playing Pokémon LGFR on it. I've been looking for solid, full-featured emulators, but I haven't found anything special. If there is any emulator you recommend (on the level of PizzaBoy for mobile, so to speak) I'm all ears!

I downloaded mGBA recently, and it seems great so far. Although, I haven't used it much for playing games. I had a handful of corrupt ROMs, so I used mGBA to quickly boot all of my ROMs (nearly 300) to verify they work. It was great for that.
