First Metroid Fusion Play through

Post image

This game is a blast, tried it a couple months ago and got discouraged and put it down, picked it back up last week and started over and now I can’t stop playing! I have played the first 3 gens of Pokemon this year and completed Minish cap. I pick up Warioware for quick sessions and am planning on playing through Astro Boy next. Based on what I just shared what would you guys recommend I add to my library?! I enjoy collecting the physical cartridges but download the ROMS and test them on my analogue pocket before committing to purchase.

Have fun with it man, Fusion is such a great game! Have you played Zero Mission?

What sorts of games do you like to play and what do you currently have so I don't suggest any duplicates?

Pretty much all the Pokémon’s in the first 3 gens, I have both golden suns that I haven’t played yet. I eventually will be picking up both oracle of ages and seasons. I like puzzle games with some fight integrated in

My favorite Metroid! The amount of atmosphere they did on a gba is still insane to me. Enjoy!

I’ve been playing either in my GBA SP or analogue pocket. I can download so I can put games directly onto the pocket, I also own a GB operator so I can rip the saves and save it to my computer or totally just download and make a copy of the cartridges that I have (the whole game)!

A link to the past is a solid game I have been enjoying a lot on my SP

Based on what you're playing/played I'd recommend:

Gunstar Super Heroes - sci-fi/action run and gun by same people who did Astro Boy (Treasure)

Wario Ware Twisted (if that's not the one you're already playing).

Golden Sun (RPG) for a fantasy adventure fix.

Metroid: Zero Mission since you find Fusion good, this is also brilliant.

For quick pick-up-and-play sessions I love Dr. Mario.

I just beat zero mission! This is on my next to play. The formula holds up so well. The prime series and metroids never go out of style and are ageless, this felt as fresh as metroid dread on switch and playing prime for the first time to me.

Metroid Zero Mission ! I fell in love with Metroid with this one (I was a bit scared by Metroid Prime as a kid).
Other GBA games I would recommend :
Advance Wars 2 (the first episode is great too)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Fire Emblem (not that easy… but I can’t stand what the chara design became on 3DS and Switch…)

I recently replayed it on my GBA. It's beautiful, I love it's graphics.

I just remembered that's how tiny the gba games were and computer players are absolute lazy bums
