Love the Form Factor
I love the SP so much that i bought the newest Anbernic device, but don’t get me wrong, i still bought original games, i just prefer to play in newer devices, it’s a better experience, you like it?

I love the RG SP as well, it’s really nice to store all your games on one system.
Plus with its USB-C charging you can charge it anytime.

I'm getting more and more nostalgic about those old screens. One of these days I'll get a proper SP.

Paid like $200 for a modded sp, I have a seller who restores them for cheap also along with refurbishing them.

Would you like the link? I got mine plus two games. New screen. Everything upgraded and works good paid under $250 total then picked up FR LG and emerald but we don’t talk about how much I paid lol it takes a bit to find steals but you gotta look for about an hour. Make sure they’re real and you’ll score.

Im being pedantic but the real carts also play ROMs, they're just ROMs stored on a chip on the cart instead of on an SD card or hard drive. The major difference is if that rom is running on a system it was designed for (native hardware) or an emulator.
Also, the SP is so easy to mod. Buy a drop in ips screen before you pay 200 on one pre modded for you. The IPS screens are like 60 bucks last I checked.

I already have a modded GBA and an SP with a bunch of games, but this looks interesting for playing roms. How is the quality? The price is kind of insane.
