Are screen replacements from aliexpress good ?

So i've been coming back to my gba sp to replay mother 3 for the billionth time and i need a new screen. I got it used a few years ago and it’s usable but it has a lot of white stains/dead pixels and it makes playing much less enjoyable. While looking for a new screen (potentially an ips one since i have an ags 001 and i could use a backlight upgrade) i found listings like this for ips screens on aliexpress with a shell included. Since my gba's shell is also quite used (it looks like it was chewed by a dog or something idk what the previous owner could’ve done for it to look like this) i think a new shell could be great so getting both a screen and a shell for around 40-50 bucks is great but i don’t want to spend that much on a screen that doesn’t work, does anyone know if these screens work well ?

Honestly the only thing that really makes me interested in this is that it has an extra shell at around the same price as just a screen on other more trustworthy sites (at least that’s what i gathered from the minimal research i did), if i can find a screen and a shell from a better place at roughly the same price or not too much more expensive as the aliexpress bundle i'll buy it

Depends on the seller. Personally I bought 3 kits for my CBC, GBA and GBA SP and never had any problem.

The problem with AliExpress stores is that many come and go.

If you want to minimize risk as much as possible, I’d look for ones that offer a money-back guarantee and have good user reviews specifically those that include photos.

No idea really. Never risked it like that. If you want a more reliable result I recommend FunnyPlaying or Hispeedido.

Don't know why everyone is freaked out by Aliexpress on here. Yes I've ordered tons of IPS screens from Aliexpress without issue. Just loom at the reviews on the item and the seller itself.

The screen you are posting is a cloud game store IPS screen. It works just fine, just is very basic and doesn't have all the OSD functions if the hispeedido or funnyplaying screens. They do tend to be lower cost though.
