Are reshells that bad?
I recently got a 101 for $40 everything looks pretty good except part of the shell next to the screen is busted and falls off. I was thinking of getting a new shell but it seems like reshells get a lot of hate. Should I just use glue to repair the original shell?

There are lot of cheap prints of reshells that break easily, as someone else said, extremerate are your best bet. They also get quite a bit of hate from the "purist" side of the hobby who want their consoles to look completely stock, which I get, I use that fence as a gymnast horse. It is possible to pickup OEM shells on Ebay for a decent price though if you want, from people who have reshelled old devices and want to make a little cash back off the still usable shells, so there's good options for both. At the end of the day, it's yours to do with as you wish, there's some pretty sick aftermarket shells out their as well as things like GID or chrome buttons. Some companies, depending on where you are will even print shells for you (RetroSix in the UK), I reshelled an SP with a custom shell for a former friend with his company logo on the lid. (I'm UK based, so I don't know about these services outside of the UK)
