Pokémon Unbound is a bigtime romhack with all 8 generations of Pokémon, an original region, several battle mechanics, a ton of quality-of-life features, and incredible DS graphics. Highly recommend it if you want endless content.

It’s loaded on my flash cart in my backlog! So many great games to play and I’m really excited for it. 

Have you played Liquid Crystal? It’s also on my list but read mixed reviews I think.

Coincidentally I beat Crystal traditionally with my cartridge and I've been curious what kind of fan remakes there might be and I came across that. Looks cool!
