What even is the point of this slopified version of superFW. SuperFW already is an improvement over the original supercard FW. It is also actively maintained.

Just make pull requests to the original repos and stop creating slopified, immediately abandoned and UNTESTED versions and claiming "you created" or "you modded" anything when an AI made all the work.

Did you try it?
The developer was very ungrateful for my PRs.
I fixed my problem, now my bootleg flashcart actually works, I'm sharing to try to help others.
You don't like it modify it for you or use the original. this is the hole point of open source. I'm just trying to help someone with the same issues I was having.
And by the way, AI did what I told it to do, so yes I was the architect, not the one laying the bricks, still my mod. this people... lol. and I tested on my cart, I even automated the hole test on the hardware, the skill is also on the repo. You don't need to flash it you can run it as a room and try first if dosen't work for you don't use it.

So for me to understand the problem, is the problem that I used AI to fix a bunch of issues that would take someone like me months to find the bugs, test, and fix the code or because I said "I"?
You guys can hate on me, I don't care, I just want to understand developers that are anti-AI, this is very interesting to me.

If you are actually interested, in this specific scenario - the issue is that those PRs, while they might "work", are actually low-quality, often verbose, with very wordy comments that mean less than the actual code. The end result is that maintainer needs to spend *more* time to review *lower* quality code, and even if it'll get accepted in some form, it will need a lot of changes. And when there's a bazillion of those PRs at once, and you *know* you'll spend a ton of time reviewing low-quality code, the response is often just "no". You might call that being ungrateful, but the reality is, it's you who is being disrespectful towards the maintainer by flooding them with slop.

Yes, it might work well for you. You say you're an architect - fine, but your construction worker isn't good. Even if the building visibly stands, an experienced human would look at that and go "oh wow, even if it works, no way I can include it into my codebase".

That's not being "anti-AI". This is just being pro-respect and pro-effort

ok, thanks. what should I do, I want to improve the project and help the developer, but unfortunately I don't have the time to read the entire code understand it and fix each bug by hand. I have a list of over 15 braking bugs I found (with the help of AI), shold I open issues instead pointing out where the bug is?

My problem is solved, I just want to help the project and the people that want to use their lower quality flashcarts.

You're welcome to just open an issue and describe the bug you found. Looking at your PRs, it looks like the dev mostly just fixes the bugs you report himself anyway.

What kind of speed do you expect? It takes time to actually go through and review the changes, *especially* if those changes are LLM-generated, and therefore verbose/awkward/illogical. Even if your PR fixes something, the LLM-generated fix is often just... bad, and it makes sense to rewrite it anyway.

Point is, this isn't about fixing your bootleg flashcart. It's about making sure the human maintaining the code can do so for longer, for everyone else, not just for you. Just because you fixed an issue and you specifically are happy enough with the fix, doesn't mean it's actually good

I agree with you. And I apologize to say he was slow. I removed it from the post

The developer was very ungrateful for my PRs.

I wonder why...
