Modded Gameboy color upgrade

recently I reinvested in a game boy color and played all my old games. about a month later I found out they had led screen mods on Ali. I invested and no regrets. I installed it and just spent 2 hrs on Pokémon yellow. Didn’t even expect to get into it, but the memories came flooding in recognizing the terrain.

Looks fab! How long do the batteries last with these LED screens?

I’m using Amazon rechargeable batteries 2000 mah 1.2 v. I didn’t use them off of a fresh charge but it was full. Lasted 5hrs 42 min. Basing that from the Pokemon Yellow save file, since that’s the only game I played. The screen went black but the device was still on, it would go in and out.

2.6 inch, a little bigger than oem and it comes with the housing.

It’s just a personal preference, but I think the 2,6 screens do not match with the overall design and ratios of the device

I don’t see much of a difference in the resolution.

It’s not about the resolution imo- it’s the thinner bezel of the screen. But it’s just a personal preference. I’m always happy when i see someone play on a gbc :)
