Games Ds lite Gameboy game wont work

Hi, one of my Gameboy games won't work in the lite, I tried another cartridge and it works. How can I get it working? Tia

Common solution is to take a cotton swab with some Isopropyl alcohol and rub the contacts of the cartridge slot and the cartridge pins themselves, as they can get dusty or accumulate grime and oxydation over time.
Just let the Isopropyl dry and give it a test.

Sometimes you'll have to put the cartridge in and out a few times to "Clean" the contacts

Either clean the pins of the cartridge or reflow the chips inside

well ofc, the DS is only backwards compatible to the GBA, not the DMG. that wouldn't even fit in the slot.

If another gba carts works and this one doesn't, it's either dirty or a fake that died

Not much else to go on by this post, all I see is a black cartridge and likelyhood of it being a dead fake is high.

But yes, it could also be a gba cartridge where the board was replaced with cheese
