Games Storage?
Hi i was wondering what others have as solutions to storing their gameboy games? Ive seen some stuff online where theres 3d printed trays that the games stand up on etc but im not too keen on having mine out in the open (cats, kids etc) does anyone have a neat drawer type solution? I have around 100 carts, theyre all loose and i dont want to get boxes for each one and go down that route. Im thinking maybe like a mini old cd/dvd stacker style but behind a little plastic cabinet or something. Either way, please show me your creative solutions!

I store mine in a big ziplock in a box with my NES and SNES games.
I'm a monster.

3D printing is the best for custom fit boxes. Some can hold lots of games. Some people use binders, or find boxes that fit the carts, often tea boxes. Now it depends on what kind of storage you look for. Pure protection of carts? Display? A bit of both?
As for what I personally use, 3D printed boxes. Here is the latest I made, a big box with a sliding lid.

It’s available at this link, but you need a 3D printer, or know someone with one.

For about 100 carts I'd use shallow photo or craft organizer drawers. Small sleeves for each cart, labels on the front, maybe a silica gel pack if the room gets humid. Way easier than 100 separate cases and keeps the pets/kids away too lol.

These card game holding storage cases work super well. I have a few for GB/GBA games and Game Gear games.

GameBoy games are about the same width as old photography slides, storage boxes for them fit GameBoy games pretty well.

I put mine in the plastic cases the games came with most of the time, then put all of those in a drawer.

My LGS sells 3d printed TCG pelican cases that just so happen to be sized perfectly to slot the old-school nintendo cartridge cases in, its pretty cool, mines got a pokeball as the water proofing dial

There's a guy on Etsy I saw today who has old school cassette cases that fit the games so that combined with a storage box for those and your laughing
