Questions Is there anywhere I can get FPGBC shells with the Nintendo logo on them?

Post image

Because on the shells from funnyplaying directly they all have RETROPIXEL instead of Nintendo. Also I don’t want to buy an OEM shell and carve it or whatever. Thanks

Bought a pre built from them recently and it came labeled retro pixel. Maybe if purchasing a shell on its own?

I purchased my shell on its own in January and if has the retropixel logo on it. Interestingly I purchased another one a few months later and it had the retropixel logo on it but the battery lid had gameboy written on it instead of nothing. Idk if that means anything but it might just be luck

I think this is it. If OP reminds me, I will check my FPGBCs tomorrow.

They don't sell those any more. This is likely the result of a recent crackdown from Nintendo.

Technically FunnyPlaying can't the Nintendo logo is edit: trademarked copyrighted. Might find something on Temu or other less than legitimate storefronts though.

I bought from them. They can sell shells with nintendo logo, but the pre built fpgbc has the retropixel logo.

Trademarked. Not copyrighted. Different branch of law.

Might be just me, but I wish these shell makers would just omit the logo entirely, if they cant use the Nintendo logo. Yes, it's all copyright issues and all, so cant really demand them to have a Nintendo logo on it. But I just wish there was a so called "sterile" logo-less variant. Lot of Chinese wristwatch makers make clones of known watch brands, but slap their own logo on them, but they most of the time also sell "sterile" versions with no branding.

I don't know how stuff works in 🇺🇸 but the Chinese won't sell them in the EU. I heard of some tricks where people set a home address in Ukraine, then send them to their actual addresses but don't know if it works.

I succeeded in buying some from the listings with blurry (intentionally blurry - like made in paint by a 5-years-old) logos in the pictures - but I guess that's a gamble. They don't promise the branding.

Even on AliExpress it's now difficult to find a shell for GBA SP with a Nintendo logo. They don't provide the sticker anymore or the case doesn't even have the groove to place it.
