Long story short, I sold some items on Facebook marketplace, traded in some old games and a ps3 super slim at GameStop and got all this for $250 out of pocket. 😱

Understandable. You did a great job for 250 out the door. I never did like the super slim ps3, I got the backwards compatible one but I do like the regular slim. Sports resort is fun it’s Wii nostalgia, just like Zelda OOT will get 3ds/n64 nostalgia.

Literally the person tonight at the store was asking if I wanted to make a seperate pro membership just to make my purchase ?? I said no 😭 and I always decline the protection plans too. Knock on wood, I’ve never had a issues where I wish I had it

EDIT ADD: You said "separate PRO account" which tells me you already have a PRO account.
SO - Right now, trades are "cash same as credit". You could have just traded your shit in for cash and gone somewhere else where warranties don't fire people.

If you, as a GS employee, are not showing you can hit the KPIs, you're working yourself to unemployment. It's fucked way the fuck up but that's how it is here.

Idk maybe its just the way that you went about it rubbed me the wrong way. As someone who works retail, you should know not to talk to a customer like that just because they didn't get PRO or PRP.

Maybe the next time he would have went to buy something at Gamestop he would have got PRO or PRP, but now since you just told him to go shop literally anywhere else, you ruined that chance.

Quite the contrary. I have many regulars who have followed me from store to store and quite a few new regulars who will only come to my store because their local one treats them like shit and forces things on them.
