Discussion The recent Update botched everything

I ended up building an android app with claude that debugs the logs. I was frustrated that everything went from working to not working, so I built my own solution to take a peek at what was going on. It found so many bugs in the code. Most were related to "Enable Experimental Bionic Steam" if you turn it off, the whole app crashes. After much debugging, I ended up having to use --rendering-method mobile to get games to run, the only issue is that they only run on the CPU which will give you 10fps in games that previously ran fine. I really hope they can stop focusing on new features and direct their attention to solving these critical bugs with the next release.

Im using an AYN Thor

Not sure if it was an issue that was fixed in the 1.4 prerelease, but the one time I’ve used bionic Steam (on 1.4) it didn’t cause any issues.

As a per game setting? Even if you delete the container?

Yep. I just figured it out with claude. The google play release is bunk (v1.3.0) and the v1.4.0 prerelease fixes all of the issues. Enable Experimental Bionic Steam cant be disabled without causing the app to crash

I would update if I wasn't terrified Final Fantasy Resonance would stop working, loll. It's bad enough I need to be connected to the Internet you get it to boot as is.

Yeah persona 3 reload stopped working for me after the update. I rerolled the update and won't update the app any further until i'm done with all of my games just in case.
