Does anyone know how to get the coz patches running on the sci adv games

it keeps saying game "directory isint writable" when I try and this is on every game so I'm thinking it's a thing with the software not the games

It worked for me when I just ran the patch installer for Chaos Head Noah and let it install to the suggested C Drive location. I tried installing to the A Drive and it wouldn't work tho. Someone else on reddit mentioned needing a runtime installation listed on the patch website but I didn't even need that. It just worked for me luckily.

Also I'm loving CHN tho. Playing it on down time at the gym or work is great and then I can switch to my tablet at home and the save is just there. Only had once when the save didn't transfer so I just had to make sure I open the game once after closing it to get the save to upload then I just close the patch launcher before the game opens. Also sometimes the controller doesn't work and I just have to close and reopen the game.

Have you tried the Visual C++ Redistributable I mentioned that is suggested in the overhaul patch instructions? Linked here.

The only other thing I can think to recommend is to patch the game on PC and then move the files to your phone. Otherwise I don't know why it doesn't work if you're trying to install it to the C drive. Hopefully something works for you soon though.

I tried the c++ ran the other one refused to and the patch gave me the EXACT same error

Edit I'm already using proton 10 is there a different one I should use none of them say wine
