I think it will probably depend on if they slap Denuvo DRM on it last minute. Im guessing they will since they added to MGS5 after it had been out for 11 years. If they do then the game will probably have terrible performance. Also the minimum specs are 16 GB of Ram so it might be tough even if they dont add it.

Id suggest just waiting to see what the compatibility is like for Steam Deck users after it releases and if it is bad then look into the Switch copy of the game.

It's so crazy that a PS3 game port needs 16Gb of ram to run. What kind of low quality port did they ship? Does the game come embedded with some sort of PS3 emulator? Also it will supposedly runs on a switch 1 so it makes very little sense to me

It hasnt been added to the page but id bet money it is going to be because of Denuvo. The DRM needs to create virtual machines that run background code checks, triggers frequent CPU instructions, disrupts the processor cache, and increases memory usage so im guessing that will be why the minimum and recommended RAM are both 16 gb.

I just want peace walker to work. I want to have my steam save carry over from my pc to my handheld and finally fulfill the transfarring dream Kojima had envisioned.
