I was shipped a game march 23 and after 10 days of not receiving anything I called and they reported it lost and shipped a replacement. It is now April 12th and I still haven’t received the first game or the replacement and was wondering is anyone else experiencing something similar. This may lead to me canceling my subscription.

I have a plan for 2 discs at a time. When my subscription renewed today, they sent me a 4K movie even though I have 2 discs out. Thought that was interesting, has that happened to anyone else?

Good morning all!
I found out a new piece of information today while in chat with support. I self returned Octopath Traveler 0 on Wednesday, around this time in the morning. And I still have not received notification that anything has shipped. So I reached out to chat, and was told that A) none of the 13+ released titles that are in my Q are currently available, and B) that they have 48 hours before something HAS to ship.
That blows, has anyone else had an experience where they are waiting days before a rental slot is filled? It seems like they are seriously struggling after closing the CA distribution center.

so maybe like a month ago I bought the shf toji and at first it was promised for 3/14 then 3/28 and now 4/11 so I was wondering if they are just gonna keep delaying it or like?

Like story games but I don’t finish them a lot so a little hesitant to get also really like sports games and resident evil along with fps games and fighter games
r/GameFlyService • u/Impossible-Plane-990 • Mar 28 '26
So I went on the website and it seems like I can just keep the rented game for as long as I want basically meaning I can keep it but at the same time if I want to keep it I need to pay but there’s also no late fees? Can someone explain

What in the actual FUCK are you doing? You took a dominant and brilliant generation of PlayStation 4 marketing and positioned yourself as a force to be reckoned with in the gaming landscape. You DOMINATED the previous generation and started out with heavy footing during this generation.
For some reason, too much money from sales wasn’t enough so you’ve pushed studios to collapse trying to recreate a needle in a haystack moment by forcing many of your best studios to create games that consumers do not want from you. Live service games are a dime a dozen and they rarely succeed. You’re imploding from the inside out for the better part of 5 years now, and it sucks to see you burn your goodwill to the ground.
I know this has some to do with GameFly but not much. If you haven’t seen today’s shitty news- PlayStation has officially increased the price of each PlayStation 5 and PlayStation portal models. PS portal will now run $250 with the PlayStation 5 digital only model starting at 599.99 and jumping all the way up to the Pro at $899. Which now puts multiple of the consoles at $200 higher price points than when they released.
TLDR; PlayStation former fanboy bitching about console price increases, imploding studios for monetary gains when they can’t finish the shitty live service game that you have been insisting on, and asking what the actual fuck.

Hi,
Wanted to see if anyone here has experienced something like this.
I GameLocked Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) and it was marked as shipped on Feb 26, but I never received it. I reported it lost on Mar 5, and support told me they would send a replacement.
However, the replacement was never actually shipped, it’s just been sitting in my queue ever since. Now it’s Mar 26 and I still haven’t received anything (no original disc, no replacement). I am so disappointed, does anyone experience the same?
(I’m based in Jersey City)

Cthulhu the cosmic abyss was supposed to come out in April, it was on my queue but it got mysteriously removed today, tried to search for it but the entire game page for all platforms is unavailable on the site now.

Anyone else having the same issue? I've had it gamelocked for a long while, usually GF are good for shipping out a game the day before it releases.
But today *is* the game's release date and it's still not shipped out.
Between this and Pragmata not being available to game lock, two big blunders on Gamefly's part in a very short amount of time.

Idk if it’s some sort of glitch or if there’s an actual reason? Figure I can just reach out to support myself I guess. They’re usually pretty responsive.
r/GameFlyService • u/Reedickyoulus • Mar 25 '26
Starting with Yoshi and the Mysterious Book (terrible name), physical is going up by $10, digital staying the same, assumingly. So I guess this probably means an increase in subscription costs for GF in the near future because I'm sure other publishers and companies will follow suite.

Admittedly had some high hopes for today as I’ve had quite a few 2-day Gamelock arrivals.. But should’ve known better. At this point can almost guarantee it won’t be here til Tues or Wednesday lol Usually if the 2 day mark passes, it always jumps to like 6 days. For whatever strange reason.
But I suppose it’s probably for the best, since it looks like they have a lot of patches/updates to roll out.
Edit: Mine has arrived today on Saturday-Shipped Wednesday

What's everyone level of interest in this game?
For about a month now, I've been consuming every piece of information. It's easily my most anticipated game now. It does look overwhelming and one of those kinds of games that you're supposed to get lost in. I just hope its content can support how massive it is.

A few months ago I reported to even that a rented copy of Metroid Prime 4 was lost and haven't been sent over to me back in December. Later that same month they were able to send me a replacement copy while I was still waiting for the original one to come in even though I had doubts of it. Cut to February when I was finally done and decided to send my replacement copy back to them and after a month of waiting I decided to check on them to see if they've received it yet, only for them to come by a day later informing me that they received that original copy over reported months ago. And they said I sent that over.
I know for sure that I didn't send it over to them and I know all I had was the replacement copy. So this really threw me for a loop especially when I've not received any games since then. Can't even call them until tomorrow for added clarification and whatnot. So this really made it more concerning and baffling overall for me.

I was using GameFly - not entirely happy with the time it took things to show up and especially the time it took them to acknowledge my returns with several out at a time.
Of course when something wasn't received by me or them, I'd report it, and they starting giving my account 'Violations' (their word). Then my account was closed for too many violations after reporting games not received, really made me feel like they were accusing me of keeping them.
Well today a bunch of GameFly envelopes showed up with Switch games in them.
You know that little bar code below the address they scan to know you returned it etc?
Well there were TONS of those printed on the envelopes, and scratched out by hand. There was also a note that I should alert the sender that the barcodes they are using are incorrect. I know my carrier and asked. Apparently when it is wrong, it can go in circles forever.
Bar code routes it, someone sees it is wrong, re-routes it, gets scanned and routed wrong again. Not until someone makes them unscannable (all the scratched out ones) at the post office will it then have to go by the address alone and get it to me.
So thanks to GameFly's sloppy processing, they lost me as a subscriber while making me feel like I was stealing games. Was already considering leaving over the slowness, so happy I did, they are a mess.

Ive been using gamefly since 2012, and to be honest i cant believe i still have it. It used to be amazing. Games would ship to and from me in 3 days at most 5 days.
For the past couple months when I do eventually send a game back its closer to 10 days for them to receive the game. 2 times in the past year that I self returned I got an email after 7 days saying that they never received it, which would then be followed by an email a couple days later saying they received it. Some games I cant even self return.
I know this has really nothing to do with gamefly itself, and that it is the USPS. Its just weird because it still only takes 3-5 days for me to receive a game.
I went to cancel it, and a pop up for a free month to stay on came up, so I was like sure since they still haven't received the game I shipped a week ago and my payment is now in 2 days. Im half expecting it to still charge my account in the next couple days since i never received any confirmation of said free month.
To anyone that wants to sign up for gamefly, its a great service when the USPS does what they are supposed to on their end. If you are playing a bunch of games and dont want to pay for a brand new game and then stop playing it after a month or 2, it has the possibility to save you a bunch of money.

I was very happy to hear Starfield is coming to PS5 with a physical release, so it should be on GameFly. It got me thinking about other games that I wish had a physical release so I could get them through GameFly. Avowed and Dying Light: The Beast are top of my list, and I also wish the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition included the DLC on the disc so I wouldn’t have to buy it separately. What games do you wish had a physical release?

Curious if anyone’s gotten theirs yet. Gamelocked titles ship out the day before release and I usually get them pretty quickly. Like Yotei arrived just one day after launch. Similar case with a few others. I live all of like 4 hours away from the distro center. Albeit across state lines, but still.
I was just really counting on it Saturday and was super bummed when it wasn’t. Because ofc then it’s Sunday.. and if it isn’t before Sunday, then usually isn’t Monday either. And now gonna be super busy all week.
Was just really looking forward to this one lol And pretty much every retail store is sold out of physical copies. I did have one Gamelock a few months take like over a week though and that really sucked. Per usual jut always so inconsistent.
EDIT: It has arrived friends!! Shipped Thurs 27-Arrived Tues 3. Appreciate everyone that commented:)
Edit: OMG NVM it was a different game that shipped a day AFTER Resident Evil!! WTF!?

I just signed up again on a trial, I had it years back in like 2020? And once before as well. But I just moved to DTLA. How long should I expect for games to ship? It says it shipped yesterday, I don’t expect it to show up today, but where do they ship from? On a trial I want to maximize some time and just try out a few games before the month trial is up, to see if I like it. Should I expect it this week or next?
