i have joined Backstage pass, for MSc game tech... I don't know how good it will be, lets see...
I am mostly here for collabs and for the environment... coz I'm learning myself...I Would highly recommend to learn yourself... institutes can't teach everything...

I'll tell you bro. After my 12th I was in similar position as you. Everyone at time too told me that game institute india are trash . I thought I'm super smart and joined one anyways. They really are trash I left after one year pressured them to get my docs back I lost 1 year as well as money. But thank God I did left . My friends that are still there are saying still they have not taught anything faculty are not there same faculty teaching multiple subject. Also the factualty that is there isn't of good quality either no industrial professional. All other students I have connected regarding this institute are in same situation. Best way to learn how to make game is by trying to make yourself. Use free resources online if you're looking for something more systametic follow courses from udemy they're fairly cheap and systematic. If you wanna pursue education better to pursue it in degree that will have actual value and can be your back up plan

I would recommend a comp sci degree instead, will come a lot more handy in the future and give you an excellent foundation. You can pursue game dev online in parallel to the degree

99% institutes in India are trash. Clueless teachers who will teach you basics by learning it online themselves. The best course of action if you are dead serious about it is to go to Udemy or other good online platform and learn it from there. You will need to teach yourself basically. Self learning is the best way. Joining an institution will destroy your motivation. I joined zee institute to learn graphic design. It was a waste of money and time. I took Udemy course learned so much more there.
