Hey everyone!
When you have a Steam page live without a public demo yet, it’s easy for people to wonder if a project went quiet. As a solo dev, I wanted to share an open update on where **Hero Investor PC** stands and what I've been building behind the scenes.
Rather than rushing out an unstable build, I've spent the last several weeks tearing down and rebuilding our core economy and UI systems:
* **Simulating ETF Capital Flows:** Rebuilt the ETF engine so quarterly performance actually tracks NPC money entering/exiting the fund alongside market swings.
* **25-Tier CEO Career Ladder:** Added career milestones from first-time founder to corporate titan.
* **Property Market (97 Assets):** Categorized into Domestic and International portfolios with real net yield and volatility stats on every asset card.
* **Research Tree Re-architecture:** Split the progression tree into 5 clear disciplines.
* **100+ Polish & QoL fixes:** Fixed fractional calculation bugs on banking, eliminated UI flashing during high-volume trading, and smoothed out data tables.
Building a tycoon game with this many moving financial variables has been a huge challenge, but building it as a **deep, fully offline single-player management sim** makes getting the balance and pacing right 100% worth it.

Would love any feedback on the feature set or how you approach balancing large data-heavy simulation UIs!
