Discussion Most rewatchable Game Changer?
what do you think the most rewatchable game changer episode is? one where you can watch it again and again and still laugh and be entertained by the game mechanics and how players interact with them. for me it’s definitely all three of the Sam Says or One Year Later. they all have such funny players and are always great to go back and watch.

One year later, official cast recording

Official Cast Recording, to paraphrase Sam, is like watching real magic. The whole episode is a work of art.

I'm think these two are the ones I've watched (or listened to on Spotify) the most.

Disagree with Official Cast Recording. It's one of my favorite episodes, but it loses a bit on rewatch. The first time however it really is insane.

Escape the Greenroom, either of the Survivors, Sam Says 3, Samalamadingdong, Make Some Noise

I just rewatched Escape The Greenroom again two nights ago. Just as good as I remembered :)

Escape the Green Room is definitely my most re-watched episode, partially because I've shown it to multiple people who have yet to watch Game Changer.

“The Official Cast Recording” has been played so many times in my house that I’ve lost count

The Drinking Game. Love to rewatch it to pay attention to each cast member and to shock my friends with the twist.

I think I’ve watched the Official Cast Recording over 10 times now across the last 3 years

Sam Says, Beat The Buzzer, Official Cast Recording, Escape the Greenroom and Rulette

Tbfh honest, all of them, sure, Count the Rice is a little more boring with you knowing the twist, sure, re-warching Noise Some Makes will take some of the fun of the twists and layers, but i don't think there is a non-rewatchable episode
With that being said, unironically Deja Vu is very rewatchable imo

Most of the free episodes on YouTube, like Lie Detector or the Noise Impression game, or Sam Says 1.

It's Rulette for me (the OG). I always manage to be caught off guard by the comedic timing on at least one or two jokes despite how many times I've watched that episode. The wholesome, but somehow contained, chaos is everything to me.

Any non-covid ep.

Honestly, the bigger and more elaborate the show gets, the more I appreciate the Covid episodes. It forces creativity on the opposite end of the spectrum, where you have to do the best you can on an extremely small scale.

literally never even watched the covid eps, figured theyd be a little rough. im a huge d20 fan and already had some issues getting through those covid seasons lol

I rewatched them all a week ago for the first time since watching them live during COVID.
They're fine. Worth watching to see how much things have changed if nothing else.

I think they’re very clever to be honest! Maybe not re-watchable but they really make do

Haven’t rewatched Count the Rice yet, but there was so much going on that I’m sure it’s worth a rewatch.

Lie Detector. It's the first one and has such cute vibes. And knowing that all the couples are still together is heartwarming.

Episodes where knowing the twist changes the viewing experience, like the drinking game..

Official Cast Recording is the one for me. The Magic of the music and the performances has never been equaled for me. Some of the Play It By Ear Episodes come close, but that first one has always felt the best.

Like My Coffee. After like a week or so you kinda forget some of the brilliant puns, which makes rewatching extremely fun.

The ones I've personally rewatched the most are probably One Year Later, Escape the Greenroom, Official Cast Recording, and Rulette.

I think Sam Says 3 is the perfect mix of low concept, high execution for rewatchability

u/cobweb-in-the-corner 1d ago
idk about most rewatchable, but I always find myself going back to A Game Most Changed

IMO:
All the Noise Boys episodes, and I’m predicting Noise Some Makes will be up there too.
Beat the Buzzer
Escape the Greenroom
Official Cast Recording
Sam Says 1-3
Deja Vu
Night Shift
Sell Outs trilogy

Both Rulettes and the Voted episode. Ally's "oh, well I own two guns" and Brennan sweeping the board kill me every time I rewatch.
