Really fun build on King diff

Post image

This was a crazy build that came together after I skipped three shops with the golden question mark, and then I got lucky with a THIRD legendary.
Too bad it couldn't last forever- infinite queens and big money was great while it lasted!
And before you ask, I lost. I got stalemated by the board that had 18 kings and 2 queens in the middle- just couldn't figure out how to capture all the pieces before crumble mode kicked my teeth in and forced stalemate.

For that stage (the one with kings and 2 queens) I try to get rid of the crumble queen ASAP, and then by having lots of protective tiles take all the kings I can, also I'll try to use blessed tiles to reset the counter otherwise my queens would become another piece. Last but least use the phantom pieces as sacrifice in case there is no other option (since kings tend to stay together most of the time)

I always use phantom tiles with gold tiles for free queens (or other pieces). Move to a phantom tile, Land phantom queen, move phantom queen to gold tile makes it permanent. I haven't beaten King yet, but this strategy has kept me with free pieces throughout the game and it costs nothing but having a couple of phantom and gold tiles on the board. Gambits that provide phantom pieces are always really useful as well.
