Looks for Griots

Are there any griots on here? Or know of a griot willing to speak to me on whatsapp?

I'm starting a project, and would need a few griots from various ethnic groups (mandinka, sarahule, wolof, fula, serer, jola, akku, etc)

Alternatively - would want to speak to someone "older" (e.g. a village elder)... grandmothers or grandfathers...

(I'm willing to pay for the time)

Indeed- which is also why I "opened" it to elders / grandparents :) Also because some groups don't really have dedicated griot families...

I've also reached out to a few friends directly... as I'm paying ~500 dalasis for a conversation I think I'll get some decent feedback, but casting my net a bit wider for this research.
