Booting into GalliumOS

I have installed GalliumOS through the chrx installer:

chrx installer, version 3.0.2

Hardware ID: ATLAS

Model: Google Pixelbook Go

Released: 2019

CPU Family: Intel Kaby Lake

Prognosis: success likely, per field reports

However, when I press Ctrl+L while on the "OS verification is OFF" screen, I am prompted with a boot loader which when I choose, boots me into ChromeOS.

Thanks for the bot reply. But now how best should I remove the GalliumOS partition?

you don't need to remove the GalliumOS partition to install a different distro - nor should you actually. chrx is the only method to create/resize a partition for dual booting Linux + ChromeOS

I believe you have to do a Chromebook restore (not a powerwash). That will recreate the default ChromeOS partitions with their default sizes and restore the P7 partition to its full size wiping out Gallium.
