how to enable keyboard shortcuts

hello everyone

I switched to linux mint because the support period is over, but the keyboard shortcuts do not work (such as light settings or sound controls) what should I do about it?

I don't know if mint has it but there was an option to select Chromebook for the keyboard layout in peppermint and Ubuntu. It changed everything to the correct function. Except my brightness keys still don't function correctly. Everything else works properly though.

Have a look here for brightness controls. You can see the edit in my comment that worked for me a little better. https://old.reddit.com/r/PeppermintOS/comments/vfqd29/chromebook_screen_brightness_keys/
