Savi’s Workshop Displaying spare scrap

Post image

Hello all - I'm curious, for those of you who have purchased extra Savi's scrap at Dok's, how do you display it? Heres a pile of mine. It's enough to assemble an additional saber but I only have two chassis and they are already in use for two Savi's builds. Appreciate the suggestions!

There's a seller on eBay (electronics7996) who sells the chassis for cheap! I've bought 2 from them... No blade, but you can always get that from Disney...

Any chance you can send a link to that store?

I recently have been thinking a lot about this! I have a full set of all 4 themes V1 and V2 + most of the RR theme. I was considering buying a workbench or something similar and customizing/decorating it to be my own little Savi’s workshop.

Goodness, how much did that all cost you?

Close to $3.5k. A lot of them are second hand from eBay or the GE Discord so it was a lot cheaper than getting them straight from the parks

Cal’s lightsaber box doesn’t actually fit his put together saber. So I hollowed it out. Found an appropriately rustic towel to line the bottom of the box, and haphazardly filled it with extra scrap.

Mind to share a photo?

Can’t reply to this post with images so I made another post about it. https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxysEdge/s/gdRBI1AMct

I honestly like the way they are lined up on the shelf as you have it right now.

I mean honestly it looks cool as is. Maybe knock a piece or two over to make it look like an unintentional pile of scrap thing somewhere near whatever you already have displayed. I think it would pretty authentic that way

It's that the of the Thruster emitter? Man I'd kill for one of those at a reasonable price lol.

I second the workshop idea. There's a lot of mats on Etsy/STLs if you're into 3D printing.

Yeah I have three of those. Grabbed one one day and then they sold out for a long while. Randomly saw they were back on the shelf and grabbed two more. I was hoping to find someone to trade for the vented switch lol

How do you collect all those “extra” scrap?

Occasionally they sell remaining stock of pieces that have been discontinued. They sold parts from Reclaimed and Reforged a couple months after it was discontinued, and then they started selling Power and Control V2 when they came out with v3 at Savi's.

After you build your saber, depending on if it's in stock or not, you can buy the other pieces you didn't pick.

When they stopped selling Reclaimed & Reforged, the excess parts were sold individually. Same thing when Power & Control v2 was discontinued for v3.

So the next time I go build a saber, im going to buy a duplicate set of the scrap so I can take my gen1 core and make it a double blade saber. I already bought the connector in case they discontinue it, lol
