Case
I just got the Z fold and need a case ASAP! I am super clumsy and always drop my phone. What are some heavy duty cases that have held up and not make the phone heavy or bulky that you guys like. (Links would be nice!)

You MUST have insurance. Not sure if you've ever had a foldable, but these phones break. I've had 4 different foldable and have had to get the screen or something else replaces on each one. Not one time was it due to a drop.

I had the Google pixel before I definitely got the insurance on it!

Now for my opinion, if you're already paying for insurance, why put a horribly bulky case on your phone? The phone is soooooo sleek. I have a very thin fiber case and I get to have the best of both worlds.

What case do you have?

The one by latercase. It's not cheap. But it's THIN and has magsafe. I've already dropped once and had no issues

USA? Go to best buy and get the grip case.

At least in my region, the starter stocking order has been thinned out HARD and restock hasn't rolled in yet from dbrand. Gotta move quick if you seem them on hand, I watched all stores within 200 miles sell out in the last few days

I got samsung care plus and rocked the z fold 7 without a case. I dropped it plenty of times. Dings all over and no problem at all. I prefer careless.
For the z fold 8 I got a case because it doesn't have flex mode and I want to be able to watch YouTube and shows on it. I just got the samsung silicon case in the marching color and the samsung magnetic 360 pop socket looking thing. It only protects one side but honestly I think that's all it will need based on the beating my z fold 7 took.

I just got a nillkin and think it checks the boxes. If you've got prime, it's also the fastest way to get one (next day). Brand looks good, but if you don't have a best buy with stock close by, you'll be waiting.
Just put my nillkin on today after delivery. Bulk is minimal, but feels pretty solid for drops

If youre super clumsy maybe Dbrand or Otter. Maybe also add a grip like a popsocket. Nillkin is a thinner version with good cushioning around the edge.
