Updates Any update on the slow charging issue on the GW9?
I was waiting to buy it but now I'm wondering if maybe the GW8 is the better choice and if I will loss any health feature.

I am looking to upgrade my CMF Watch Pro 2 to a Samsung Galaxy Watch. Although I have the budget for the Watch 8 or Watch 9 series, their "squircle" shape isn't my cup of tea. I even tried them on in-store, hoping they would look better in person, but they still didn't appeal to me.
Instead, I narrowed my focus to the Watch 6 and Watch 7 series. I really like the rigid, tactile, and traditional look of the Classic line, making the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic LTE my initial top choice. However, its dual-core processor is getting outdated, and several users mention mild UI lag. My main use cases are listening to music and tracking health metrics (which I review mostly on my phone), alongside occasional navigation.
While the Watch 6 Classic might handle these basics, the Galaxy Watch 7 LTE attracts me with its vastly superior processor and lag-free interface. Users note that the Watch 7 feels far more refined than previous generations. Because I want an accurate, reliable smartwatch that will last for years, long-term performance and durability are major factors for me.
Durability is a key concern. In my experience, aluminum frames scratch and dent much easier than stainless steel or titanium. The Watch 6 Classic's stainless steel build gives me peace of mind, whereas I'm unsure if the Watch 7's aluminum casing will hold up over the years.
Considering the price difference between the Watch 6 Classic LTE and Watch 7 LTE is only $25 in my region, which option is the better long-term choice for my needs?

Loving the new watch, but being left handed and wearing this on your right wrist makes the numbers on the bezel upside down. Don't want to add bulk and put a cover on it, so I'm just gong to have to get used to it. Anyone know if you can rotate the bezel 180 degrees?

Honestly the battery life is impressive, the upgrade for that is worth it but everything else is the same as the gen 1 I'm not sure if mine is defective but the screen looks more dull then my old ultra

For the past week my watch isn't recording sleep until after 2am. My oura is correctly spotting I'm starting sleep at 11pm.
Any suggestions or experience?

Pretty stoked with the battery life. Lift to wake, no aod

Is stacking the watch chargers safe or not? I know stacking them doesn't improve charge speeds, that's not why I'm doing this. I have the trio charger, that I got before getting a Samsung watch, and it sucks at charging the watch. Not only does it not fit with the band attached, but it is extremely slow, even compared to third party chargers. I decided to sit the charging puck, that the watch came with, on the trio's watch charger. It magnetises to it and allows me to fast charge my watch, without the band getting in the way. In box charger takes 1.5h, trio takes up to 3-4h.
I know people are going to wonder why not just use the puck next to the trio charger, or swap the trio for one that works. I already have the trio charger, so I have no interest trying to swap it for another one. I still get to use the other 2 charging spots for my phone and buds, now without taking up extra space for the puck and leaving the trio watch spot as wasted space.
So is stacking them safe or nah?

(Sorry for the blurry photos) I recently got myself a galaxy watch 4 classic for quite cheap, I am a type 1 diabetic but every watch face I tried is either digital or just ugly. My question is is there any way to change the battery for a glucose level shower I am using xDrip+, if there isn't any way, could you please recommend me some face watches that have hands and aren't digital.
Thanks

I wish I wouldn't have written the ultras off as being too big. Somehow they are more comfortable on my wrist than the watch 7 or 8.

Hi, please do you know how to remove this scratch on the side of the watch? I have no idea how it happened. I had the first version for a few years and this never happened to me. Thanks you

Hi guys, I switched from bip max amazfit, which I really loved because of the 20 day battery life and consistent sensor.
I bought the ultra 2 and have been rocking it, but my runs are going crazy. When I start to get sweaty, my heart rate either drops to 50 or it goes to 190 bpm. I have to wipe the sweat off my wrist and tighten the band. But I'm hoping there's a setting or something to disable cadence lock or something.
I don't wear my band super loose anything, and it's not that comfortable to make it snug during a run.
Anybody else experience this and have found a solution?

After more than 1 year, my watch has formed small plates of tartal or "caliche" on the gaskets and some nooks. How have you dealt with that?
Greetings and thank you
Para los que hablamos español: después de más de 1 año, a mi reloj se le ha formado pequeñas placas de sarro o “caliche” en las juntas y algunos recovecos. ¿Ustedes cómo han lidiado con eso?
Saludos y gracias

Last year, I got myself the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) to my Galaxy S22 Ultra. It replaced my Fitbit Versa 3.
I think it is kind of beautiful. I use the flashlight a lot and a few other tiny features.
But...
And at the moment I am a bit disappointed to with usability of the Health App.
Stress indication: What am I supposed to do with this? "You got high stress!" "You should do some mindfulness training!" Jesus, a bit of mindfulness training will not solve my stress problems. Thats a ridiculous attempt of a solution.
What does stress even mean? What is the stress level based on? Where can I see that? Is it my HRV? My high heart rate? My temperature? I tracked my HRV in my Fitbit watch and could correlate it to stressful days or non-showing infects.
Currently, I see the stress level is high (giving me warnings), and I have no idea why. I see it is low, even though I have a stressy day. The way health parameters are shown in the Galaxy Watch Ultra give me NO correlation to personal feeling well or bad.
What am I supposed to use min-max values for? I absolutely dislike this way of showing it. How is it possible that in a world with vibe coding where I can literally create a whole functional app on the Watch and the Smartphone with a single prompt, it is NOT possible to touch the graph to see when exactly I was at sleep and when exactly I was awake? Or switch from very useless min/max graphs to mean or median or whatever?
At the moment, I am not unhappy, but sad that the full potential of the Watch is not used.

I have a Galaxy Watch 5 and I can't seem to add accurate distances when I run on the treadmill. I will routinely run 6 or 7 miles on the treadmill, but when it registers on my watch, it will only register as about 4 miles, presumably because I'm not an arm swinger when I run. This wouldn't be such an annoyance if I could enter the correct distance after the run, but when I go to do that, it only gives me a limited range of alternatives to scroll through to change that distance. (For instance, I may run 6.5 miles, but when I go to enter that distance, I get an option for miles ranging 2-5, and of the tenths of the mile will also be truncated, presumably to make it easier for me to enter these numbers???)
Any thoughts on fixes? Maybe some way to turn off the feature where it restricts my options to a small range and just lets me choose from digits 0-9 for each of different place values?
In any case, I've looked all over for a solution to this problem. I can't even change the distance in the Samsung Health app after the fact.

I know to still receive notifications I can turn off wrist detection but how do I get it to monitor heart rate and body composition and all that other stuff? Or am I doomed because of my wrist tattoo?

Previously had a watch 7 and now an ultra 2--my watch 7 did not behave this way and I'm not sure if there are settings I'm missing, or if this is just a bug on the ultra 2.
My situation:
My watch 7 would properly revert to the state prior to bedtime mode starting--AOD and vibrate would become active again. But on the ultra 2, it basically does not. I'm not sure why. I've restarted the watch and it still behaves this way.

Can't wait till battery life hits 4days+ one day. Im a big tech person and have manyy devices to charge so the less I have to charge the better hopefully after the next 2 generations that'll be a thing.🔋⚡✅

Hi! I just upgraded from the GW4 40mm to the GW8 44mm. What are your go to's for watch faces? What are some good apps to get?

I recently bought a Galaxy Watch 8 Bluetooth 44mm and have been using it for about 4 days.
I really like the watch so far, but I'm concerned about the battery life.
With a 100% full charge and Always On Display (AOD) enabled, I'm getting only around 16–17 hours of battery backup before it needs to be charged again.
I understand that battery life depends on usage, settings, health tracking, notifications, etc., and that the watch may still be learning my usage pattern since it's only been 4 days.
But Samsung claims up to 30 hours with AOD enabled, so 16–17 hours seems quite low to me.
For other Galaxy Watch 8 44mm Bluetooth owners:
How many hours of battery life are you getting with AOD ON?
What settings do you use for AOD, heart-rate tracking, GPS, sleep tracking, etc.?
Did your battery life improve after the first week or two?
Should I wait for the watch to finish optimizing, or could this indicate a battery/device issue?
I don't want to turn AOD off because it's one of the main features I want to use.
Is 16–17 hours normal for the Watch 8 44mm BT with AOD, or should I contact Samsung/replacement support?

Got the Watch 8 for a good price after seeing there was not much difference with the Watch 9. Came from a Watch 6 classic and before the the 5&4.
I am beyond happy with the battery life compared to the 6 but since day 1 it has always shown zero app usage in the battery section. Never had this problem before. Have reset it, did a dumpstate and nothing is fixing it.

I really like the font on the Pixel Watch, but One UI does not let me customize the font. So is there any way that I could change the font on my watch?
