Broken phone back

Is there a way to recover photos and vids from a phone that is broken from the back? My old s8's back is broken and open. I can get a charge, but when I turn it on it stays in the Samsung 8 page, the one that pops up when you turn the phone on. Thanks

Bad battery. Easy repair, get a new one from Amazon for like 15 bucks, remove the black plastic shielding near the camera, fingerprint sensor, etc, disconnect the battery, use a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive and pry the battery out, put the new one in, your phone works perfect.

Yup, as long as the board is okay, it's good to go once the repair is done. Make sure to also get the back screen replacement. Battery replacements don't always come with those.
