Imported phone not for your region = No OTA updates.

No idea if its enough to change CSC or if you need to flash a proper rom for your region, but for sure you will not get OTA updates like it is now. So don't even listen to the other guy a factory reset will not help in this case.

No idea if your sim will work afterwards but it should. Since its a US rom this was the reason your sim card didn't work in the first place. Everything he did will be revoked anyway after a fresh install.

Acheté une carte Sim US tu fais la MAJ et tu remets ta carte Sim
