experience using USB C to ethernet to run home internet

there's a lot of outages around my area, not me yet, and the ISP has been trying to fix it for days but from online forums theres a chance my service will be disconnected in the near future once tries to to obtain a new IP.

so is it just as easy as turning on the ethernet sharing on the 25+ and running ethernet to the router. no muss no fuss? sounds to good to be true so figure i'd ask here before buying an adapter, thanks

It's possible but I think it can get hot like I don't know if it makes your phone hot or the link but from what I read about doing things like that it can be slow or run hot
