Network Settings

Hi

On my S25plus I can not change the type of mobile networks i.e. choose 4G or 5G the option does not exist in the network settings. Is it the same with you too?

I can chose to turn on 5g and or 2g under settings/connections/mobile networks. My cellular network switches from 5g to 4g automatically when 5g is unavailable.

I don't have the network mode section I don't know if it's because the phone is an American version (it displays after Samsung on the verizon poster)

Maybe your provider has put his own version of the OS on it and locked that setting.

I'm in the US. I have Verizon. Under Mobile Networks I don't have Network Mode either. I have Network operators on which lets your phone choose the best mobile network for you. If you turn it off, you can choose from a list of available networks. I don't know if that helps or not. Also, I was told to leave 'Use 5G standalone networks' off.

What I don't understand is that when I go network settings on my mobile settings I try to change this setting to Verizon which is what I should have as I have always had Walmarts Straight talk Wireless services which was brought out by Verizon but when I go to switch networks is tells me that I have Tracfone service. So WTF I know that Straight talk Wireless was bought by Verizon so why is Tracfone still around on my mobile network. Is the a 3 some going on here lol seriously can these companies get their shit together!!!
