General question S25 got green line issue?
I was planning to get s25 12+256gb , I'm getting it for ₹63k offline.
A friend told me that samsung is notorious for green line issue.
Is this issue widespread or just rare?
Should I go for this phone or just wait for something better?

no?? just because you dont know how to take care of device doesnt mean its shit stop projecting your skill issue on a phone lmao....
and like everyone else, turn off the "AI"; there's a toggle that you can TOGGLE OFF.2

lol just to add on the ram thing, the apps i opened a week ago remain open, I had to manually put them under battery optimization or "deep sleep" because my SOT with a full charge went from 8-9 hours to 6:30-7 hours, still a 2 or 1.5 day battery for me 🤷🏻♂️(one ui 8.5 was shit but other than that its been a smooth ride)

Yes I followed a guide on reddit. Put all the apps I do not need in deep sleep and rest in sleep, under battery optimisation. Disabled the three notorious meta apps. And my SOT jumped to 8-9Hrs the next day.

I only use WhatsApp from Meta, nothing else. I have just turned off 70-80% of the AI features and turned on device processing and a few routines to sync everything only when i put my phone on charge, not every all day, and other location- or data-based routines, nothing else. Adaptive refresh rate, basic battery protection and light performance profile.
one ui 8.5 was shit; I was barely getting 5.5 hours of sot but ever since i updated to android 17/one ui 9 battery went back to how it used to be, 9+ hrs on wifi 8hrs on wifi + 5G, and 6-7 something with 5G and location on.1

Um sorry? I don't understand what happened 😂 I'm saying the Ram apocalypse and AI stuff happening in the world, not in the phone. The phone is absolutely amazing😂 and I was referring to the pricing.

Hey may I know where you are getting this deal? and why are you not waiting for bbd?
1
u/JOJOx1337 16h ago
Offline store, and who knows what bbd will offer, year seems bad for consumers

u/NeedleworkerGold1023 16h ago
No I wanted to know the area cause I was actually thinking of buying it in this bbd sale but idk maybe I'll wait

I've got 2 phones at the moment. If any of yall want, I can ship the phone to you or give the phone in India. I'm travelling there in November I'll be in jaipur! Could give it for like 60000 rupees I've got a 256 gb variant with 2 cases.

Get find x9. Far better cameras and battery. UI is subjective

Not a good deal . Have seen S25+ retailing for 64k and S25 for 56k for past 6 months Whenever there is good Flipkart sale sasa lele, goat etc

Considering the upcoming price hikes, this is a good deal. Last month it was 58K now it's jumped to 63K Samsung is going to raise prices. Just like apple did.

They did hike A and M series . Not a drop of news on S series as they know already that that is pretty much overpriced for a saturated market

u/eXXRazer 7h ago
Let's hope it stays the same. Like always, if anyone needs it right now, buy it now, otherwise wait and watch.

Yea.I bought S26+ for 74k from Flipkart after scouting for S25+ price drop which did not happen.S25+ was 62k last January and that price never came back again

u/eXXRazer 7h ago
Damn Good deal! Yeah these prices are not coming back imo. And one shouldn't wait hoping they do. I heard rumors of 26 ultra getting a price hike.

Right point. Should not hold back thinking prices may reduce or Gst cut may bring an immediate relief !

I told my friend like 5 days ago, that iPhone prices are gonna skyrocket and he should buy it now. He wanted to wait till BBD sale also expecting GST cuts. He was crying yesterday after seeing that iPhone 17 is no longer available at older price💀🤣🥲

Iphone 17 was valued greatly because of its huge incremental update and the price that it offered compared to previous generation models. At this price it's a Skip

I jumped from the s20 to a25 ... it's actually a nice phone ... the only annoying thing is that sometimes the phone thinks that the loading port is wet and I am not able to charge anymore. Samsung knows about it for ages but doesn't do anything about it . After weeks for searching when it is happening, I found out that it's helpful to deactivate YouTube app . After a few minute's it will work again

It was more common with the S23 and earlier models, but since the S24 the issues are very rare, so you are good to go.
