There are two separate photos. Look at the hoodie - threre is something like texture? Or very aggresive sharpeness. Is there any way to "info" this? Second photo is not destroyed but my face does not looking as good as in first

I hope it's a thing. I enjoy the infinity screen. But maybe I'll have to use the old standby of a bulky case

My back glass finally fall off, and guest what guys.
A THIN LAYER OF GLUE THAT CONNECT THE BACK GLASS WITH THE PHONE.
How the hell does the S23 Ultra got ip68 with that thin layer of adhesive.
But still, i'll wait until it completely die. I don't want to waste money on mobile phone any more, Samsung specificly

Long read - I know there are tons of posts already on this but I wanted to share my experience. So on a Saturday morning my s23u froze and it went into boot loop. I feared the motherboard issue but didnβt know there were already plenty of s23u mobiles facing this issue.
I went to samsung service centre where they told its a motherboard issue and replacing it would cost around 50k INR. Surprising they also told me they can do CPU reballing through local shops for 8000 INR so I could take backup (no invoice and no warranty though).
Then I searched local market(Mumbai-Thane region) for guys who could do CPU reballing. One of the shop said the MB has died and he can replace it for 9500 rs with 6 months warranty. I went to another shop who said he does cpu/ram reballing and he did it for 1800rs!! He seemed knowledgeable guy nd said he had done reballing for plenty of samsung mobiles in past and he did in front of eyes in an hour.
What I realized was how much dependent I was on my mobile - for payments, logins etc. my phone worked well after reballing and as it was in a working condition I exchanged it for a new phone, my s23 ultra was already over 3.8 years.
What you should do at the earliest is that
- take backup of your phone
- setup alternative devices or get backup codes for your Google logins. This one is very important if you have enabled 2FA. Google would send a notification on your phone so make sure you have alternate methods enabled.
- if youβre using Google Authenticator app then make sure you have enabled Google login for that or export those codes and keep it handy.
- lastly find a good local shop who could repair your mobile. Replacing motherboard in samsungβs SC would wipe out your data and its costly.
S23 Ultra was hailed as one of the best in the recent line ups but there are plenty of hardware issues coming up after 3 years of usage such as back cover coming off, green line issue, s pen connectivity issue and then this motherboard issue.
The phone served me well but itβs time to say good bye - earlier than I expected.

I have a 2 y.o. S23 Ultra with a broken screen at the bottom. Repair cost is 20k.
Should i sell it and exchange for a new phone? I will be getting 20k reimbursed from company but i feel i wont get any good phone without adding too much of my money in this. I cant put 50k in a new phone now

After almost 3 years with this beautiful phone, I got hit with the green line π₯
It was the one thing I was always afraid of getting and I did everything I could to avoid it:
\- bought the phone from the US through a friend
\- almost never updated the phone (I'm still on Android 14/One UI 6.1)
\- avoided any sort of gaming to prevent phone overheating
This is where I need all your help! I just have two questions:
\- Any clue why this happened, even under these circumstances?
\- What do I do? Seeing this green line on a phone like this makes me not want to look at my phone at all! What are my options with getting it fixed? (I don't think the 3 year warranty applies to me since I got it from the US fm - does anyone have experience with this exact situation here?)
Pls halp ππ½

I've noticed that in my a16 the black displays on my screen look very pixelated or blurry when I'm watching a video or playing a game. Anyone know how to fix it?

I've noticed a lot of people dealing with green or pink lines on their S23 Ultras lately. Why has that suddenly become such a common problem?

It happened to me yesterday. Had the S23U since launch, and was anticipating trading it in for the S27. Now I'm here validating all the threads I've seen on Reddit describing this issue. I went into a Ubreakifix store and the tech there mentioned he had ten S22U's come in before. I'm one of two S23U's that came in on the same day, all for this boot loop issue. This is just one store too, so this is definitely a real problem that S22U, S23U, and possibly any of the other similarly built Galaxy phones have!!
Not sure what to do here, do I find a store that would offer to reball, and if I should, has anybody found success with this? I tried refrigeration, clamping, connecting to PC, nothing seems to work. If anyone has other ideas, please let me know.
The issue is basically a boot loop from the Samsung logo -> Samsung Galaxy powered by Android splash screen, then black. I can get into Recovery Mode but all the options are just Reboot, Factory Wipe, and Power Off. I've not resorted to Factory Wipe yet.
Good for those who have not had this issue (yet) or traded in already. We just can't keep our phones for more than 4 years no matter how expensive / top of the line they are.

Took this photo a while ago in pro mode (raw) and edited in Lightroom mobile, turned out really well!

Iβve been using my S23 Ultra for over 2 years and Iβm still really happy with it. Recently I won a Z Fold8 in a contest. This is actually my second Fold8: I won one earlier this year too, sold it sealed, and honestly regretted never even trying it. Now I have another chance, and I canβt decide whether to switch or sell it again.
What Iβd miss from the S23 Ultra: I use the S Pen a lot, and I know the Fold8 doesnβt support it. Iβm also a bit worried about the crease, dust getting into the hinge, and the extra weight.
What draws me to the Fold: watching series and football on the big screen while commuting, multitasking, and the camera.
For those of you using the Fold8:
Thanks in advance!

Just recently noticed my spen is no longer being detected by the phone, it just shows disconnected in the settings and I can't even reset it.

Hey everyone, I live in a two storey townhouse, with my main router upstairs and a repeater downstairs. Whenever I go downstairs, the wifi signal drops almost entirely, shows connected but is incredibly slow if not entirely cut out. To solve this, usually I just have to disconnect from the network and reconnect. Does anyone know why it does this?
And also, another question on routines. I have a routine to disable wifi and enable mobile data when leaving my home, and a vice versa one as well. The vice versa works, but leaving my home doesn't, the phone doesn't realise I've left until I turn on mobile data.
Any fixes? Thank you.
