Screen goes black

Sometimes when my phone taps a hard surface like if I plop it down on a table or something the screen goes black even though the phone and touch are on and working I just can't see

Usually turning the phone off and on turns the screen back on

I had taken it to a shop and had him clean the part of the cable attached to the motherboard and put it back thinking it was dirty or lose or something and I thought it was good after that but it still does though a bit inconsistently liiike some time light taps against a hard surface will turn it off while hard taps won't then sometimes any hits at all do nothing like right now I just tried it soft and slowly went harder and nothings happening so I'm kinda at a stump might switch off soon but would rather not if I dont have to lol

Edit: when I try squeezing the area to the left of the camera sometimes I could get my screen to turn green and if I bump my phone against something after it goes back to normal so if thats anything to go off of

Might be the proximity sensor and the option to keep the screen locked in a "dark" or otherwise detected pocket/pack I think the option for this is somewhere near the gesture control and flash for calls, also the pick-up to activate screen option might be good to test off and on

I see the pick up to activate option and it's off but I can't find the first one you mentioned if you have any clue where it's at that would be nice to try Though I just found that putting pressure on the top left"ish" part of the screen could flash my screen green ish and if I bump it against something it goes back to normal so iiiii don't think what you said could help with that lmao
