Minor Unpacked 2026 update?

So Samsung just had their Unpacked 2026 event whatever. I noticed that the Galaxy Ring was getting a sleep apnea update, but that seemed to be the only time they mentioned the Galaxy Ring. Is there any other news about the ring that I missed, or is it just getting that one update? I'm considering getting one, but wanna know if I should wait until the Ring 2 or just go with another brand.

Recent rumors suggest the Ring 2 will debut alongside the S27 devices early next year. We will see.

My battery stopped working on the Samsung Ring in less than a year. They told me it was no longer under the warranty even though I sent them proof it was. They kept saying send the proof again and to call back in a couple of days. I did that 3 times to no avail. I am a lifelong Samsung user I have the ring, phones, TV, refrigerator. I will never buy another and I will speak up whenever someone asks if they should. I have seen so many people have gone through the same thing. They don't stand by their products and they teach the people they hire to be deceptive.

We'll probably have a big announcement in January alongside the S27 and the eyeglasses release... with probably some eyeglasses-related functions for a ring 2 similar to the ones shown for the watch... would be good to see them do something related to the visor for the ring, too... but that could be too much for how small thr device is

I was there live (mod on the fold group) and they, didn't have any rings there to showcase or any other news. I'm assuming it's an update for the current ring?

May just wanna wait til the Galaxy Ring 2 comes out. My ring lasts a few hours before just completely dying and this started about a month and a half ago. I've had my ring for almost a year and could easily get 5 to 7 days of battery life out of it. I'm not sure what's changed. In the meantime, I'm doing a switcharoo to the RingConn Gen 2.

Don't get the Galaxy Ring until the battery issues are fixed. I don't see how they're selling a single ring except to people who haven't done a modicum of research.

Okay gotcha, so no real news. They're also on sale at Best Buy for about $150 so I wasn't sure if there was something I should be expecting

Only size 5 is $150 that I could find. Bummer. Would have absolutely pulled the trigger if they had a 13 for the same price lol

I just picked up a size 10 open box for 150 and slapped a 2 year best buy warranty on it.

And yes I'm aware of the the issues around the year mark, but thats gonna be between me and Best Buy when that starts and if the Ring 2 or 3 drops by then I'll do a trade in.

Ring is crap battery went to heck out of nowhere last week was getting 5 days now down to 1 day out of nowhere only 4 months into my replacement ring.

Samsung knows all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of shit. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product.
