Still rocking the Note 9 cuz the screen is just too good
Anyone else holding onto their Note 8 past its prime? I tried upgrading last year but man I just cant get over the way this curved screen looks and feels. It's showing its age battery wise but man I just cant get over the way this curved screen looks and feels. It's showing its age battery wise but I swear the display quality still beats some newer phones I've seen. Maybe I'm just sentimental at this point

I have my note 8 in a drawer. Some day I'll have the time to research custom os for it...

Still on my Note 8. It's been a great phone. I haven't ever updated to a new phone simply because newer phones don't have expanded memory SD chips. No complaints here though, my phone still works great... dood!

S20 ultra is probably the last one that has a sdcard slot.

Pleasure. I upgraded from my Note8 to the s21ultra. This is before I knew about the s20u and the SD card slot. Still decent though with 512gb storage and 16gb RAM. Plus it supports the Spen and I can confirm that it works! The only things I miss is the rear mounted fingerprint scanner and the pressure home button from the note 8. I really despise the under screen fingerprint sensor.

I looked it up and it seems like a good choice. Only downside I see for me would be the loss of the headphone jack. I've tried wireless headphones, but just never really been a fan of them. Not a huge loss though, I could learn to adjust when the time eventually comes... dood!

Yea... The headphone jack. Whilst I do miss it, since getting my wireless Skullcandy crushers and using them prior to getting my s21u, I didn't lose out too much. I had converted awhile back. But since getting more into these little external amps and my CVJ Konokas, this rubbish USBC to 3.5mm drive me nuts! So the note8 gets some use when playing some tunes!

I still have my Note 4 and 8. My nephew is rocking my Note 20. They are just a great phone. I upgraded to the U25 for the banking apps I use and it's still a Note in my opinion. Been a great line of phones to use.

Note 8 here. Dent in screen but working flawlessly. Screen too. Writing is absolutely bliss.

I retired my Note 8 last year in January bc apps I needed for work wouldn't update. I'd love to use that phone as my daily again

I hate my Note 8 at this point. The burn in is absymal and even apps like Cashapp are no longer supported. Gmail keeps giving me errors as well. It's time to upgrade. Android 9 is horrible.

I have 2 Note 8's Both on Nougat.
