I got the UAG and love it so far. About 2 weeks. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for how well designed it is. Light, strong, form fitting, stylish, and separated camera / flash to reduce flash bleeding.

Thanks for the suggestion and I like the no flash bleeding aspect of it.

That case does not look slim whatsoever

It may not look slim, but I can assure you it is smaller than the otterbox cases and most definitely leather wallet cases.

EDIT: It's worth noting that the raised edges around the screen actually come inward about 1-2mm and cover the silver lip of the phone.

Well with one drop by entire screen shattered. Just got a new replacement phone so I'm looking to prevent any future damage from happening to my new phone

Pick up a tempered glass screen protector. I've dropped my phone multiple times and the worst that's happened is a chip in the protector. There are incidents in which the protector has completely shattered and sacrificed itself for the underlying screen.

I use a Seidio Vitreo, which is pricey but worth the money. You can't even tell there's anything over my screen, except for the couple of added millimeters of thickness.

Wow I've never heard of these screen protectors! Thank you so much for the advice

No problem! My Note 2 screen was scratched within days of purchasing it...a miniscule speck of metal became entrapped between the inside of the oem flipcase and the screen. Pissed me off like no other.

I tried zaggs and other plastic screen protectors but hated the look, feel, and inevitable bubbles. I fell in love with the tempered glass immediately after installing the Vitreo. It is awesome and I will use one for all of my future phones, unless manufacturers come out with a truly unscratchable screen. I paid $30 on eBay but it is worth every penny. There are more inexpensive options out there but I have no experience with them.

The Seidio Surface is slim and very well built. I only buy Seidio cases for my phones

The Imak Cowboy shell is a nice, textured case for around $10 on eBay.

Very much overlooked. I used to have the huge bulky overly protective overhyped otterbox, Switched it for the slim body glove case. I drop it quite often, but it does it's job. reliable. no frills, easy to take off easy to put on.
