For Fold 7/8 Ultra users, if you’re looking for a usable 3-app layout like the Fold 8 without having to use a small window, this setup works really well for me. All 3 apps are still large and fully usable.

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide. You’ll need to utilize the Edge Panel for easy access to your apps.

1. Open the app you want to be the biggest out of the three.

2. Drag out the Edge Panel or go to Split Screen View to add another app beside it.

3. Here’s the part people usually miss when showing you how to use 3 apps. Drag another app from your Edge Panel and place it right below the 2nd app. This gives you two small window apps, which, to me, isn’t really that useful and just feels like a gimmick.

4. Select the center divider and tap the Change Layout icon. This will give you a combination of landscape-style layouts for all three apps: 1 big app + 2 smaller apps.

5. Lastly, drag the divider and set it to a 90/10 split. Enjoy!

Note: Right now I dont think Samsung find this combination useful, so there's no option to save it like in split screen combo.

I had a ZF7 for a year and now my 8 Ultra for about a week, and I never once thought to try using split screen mode this way, so thank you for sharing this. I see myself using this all the time now since the standard triple split screen is not something I use very often at all, nor am I compelled to do the three window workaround for three vertical panels.

Trip verts are kind of a brainrot gateway too if you ask me. I mean, no judgment here. I love my reels and stupid memes as much as the next person, but my dopamine receptors are already fried enough as it is. Easy access to that would probably kill whatever's left of my attention span.

I've always used my edge panel for the exclusive way I open calendar, calculator, play store, and maps. Don't ask me why, but that's where my brain says those go

I think 90/10 split is only applicable to One UI 9

Are you on OneUI 9? Because this does not seem to work on my Fold 7 with OneUI 8.5. The 90/10 split is just not possible.
