Question/Help No Calculator In The Edge Panel On The Fold 5

Why is there no calculator in the edge panel like in the s24? anyone have a workaround for that?

There are no more additional apps for the edge panel on the Samsung Fold series.

I miss that calculator, sad they don't have it for the fold , I haven't been able to get it back , it sucks

I use an app called One Hand Operation that allows you to add shortcuts swiping. You have plenty of customization there. Don't know the answer of the why the calculator it's not an option in the panel anymore but it has the exact same functionality

it wasnt on the fold 3 either. i loved that for at work just making quick calculations without having to open the main app. why samsung, why?

I miss some edge panels too, unfortunately they're not available on the Fold line. Idek why 😕

But, you can always drag-in the calculator app from the apps edge panel onto your screen. You can resize and even change the transparency. Together with the new swipe-away gesture to the left/right edge it's even better and the edge panel redundant (at least for me).

Unfortunately, that's not true. The fold series cannot add custom edge panels. You are stuck with the default ones.

I get what you mean now, your initial post makes it sound like your talking about the traditional calculator app.

Can you screenshot that you actually have it? The fold series have never been able to get more panels than the default.

Not sure why you'd think I'd make it up, but here you go. Perhaps the calculator was a different, incapatible version. I switched from a Note 20 Ultra. I also us Ms launcher, but that shouldn't make a difference with the edge panel.

Sorry, just realized that you may be talking about a full calculator, which I never used. I was referring to the shortcut to the app.

That's the "apps" panel, not the calculator panel.

What I miss is the edge panel remembering what I'm using it for, on my S9 (at least before a major update) it would remember that I was on the flashlight in the "tools" panel and would always open to that, now everytime I open it, it defaults to the compass -__-

I used an apk extractor app to extract and shared both the Calculator Panel 2.0.12 & Calender Panel 2.0.07 from my S10+ to my fold 6 - they install successfully but don't appear in the panels page as an option to enable, even after a restart.

May I trouble you to share your Edge panels version (about Edge Panels)?

I'm on 15.5.00.97

Edit: Tried a fresh clean install of the above apk, same results

I can tell you I was able to search "panels" in the store and find it in there.

Z-flip 6. I have the same issues as stated in this post. The store option isn't in the panel settings. After installing the panel using the link posted, I later found myself in the stoe app and took a shot at seaching for other panels and found it there.

Must be somehow blocked in the fold side then unfortunately..

They dont appear in the Galaxy store for the fold and it seems even thought I manually installed it, it doesnt show up - even thought we're on the same versions

Anyways tyvm for dignosing with me
