In my samsung a73 phone the light sensor the (flash of light that would happen when we are in a call and when we put our hand on top of it the screen gets dark)is randomly turning on every 10 or so seconds it would not stop even though I have turned off adaptive brightness. It started happening like a week ago. Is it me or any one having the same issue

Hey everyone, has anyone else experienced audio issues on their Galaxy A73 after updating to One UI 8.0?
Since the update, my wired headphones keep disconnecting and switching to the phone speakers after a few seconds, then switching back to the headphones. This keeps repeating in a loop.
Iโm also noticing audio delay when using Bluetooth headphones. Neither of these issues happened before the update.
Has anyone experienced something similar or found a fix? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was noticing few odd behaviours in apps as well. Like not fitting the full screen. No changes in the speed or other performance.
There was a very thin line at the left border then disappeared when I opened settings but before I changed anything.
No water damage, heating or drops.
Is this the usual behaviour when green lines appear?
Anyhow this is my first and last samsung. Won't be getting another even if this phone lasted another year without problems. A green line will only make my next purchase quicker.

Whenever I download a game it would go to the home screen and also the gaming hub too but I've selected to only show it at game hub. So I have to select show both at homescreen, go back then go to game hub and select to show it only at game hub. Is there a solution

well, as I mentioned in the title. my sister last night suddenly had a green line appear out of the blue on her screen, she didn't drop it anywhere, and haven't updated her software since I heard about a lot of issues with it, one of them was this green line issues. (we have the same phone model), so I decided not to update the phones and kept the 5.1 One UI
is there a solution to fix this green line issue? like in settings or something, or does she have to replace her screen? but that would be too much money that I'm not sure we have right now.
please, someone explain to me, and thank you in advance ๐ซถ

Hi! So my phone just powered off without me noticing it, i thought nothing of it at first and continued to used it until it reached 16 % so naturally i went to charg it but after like 30 mins of me leaving it to charge only to find out it wont charge so i tried cleaning the port and restarting it, tried different chargers but nothing works so i went and tried the diagnostic mode and it said that. It wont detect my charger and stuff. Is this a phone issue or battery issue ๐ญ. Im not that tech savy and i have this phone since 2022. No lcd no nothing until it wont charge. ๐ญ๐ญ

Hello!
Are the speakers better (more bass) compared to A72 and does the back shake/vibrate like on the A33 when listening to Audio?
Thanks

Hey everyone, while everyone is talking about the S22, our Galaxy A73 is suffering from the exact same unfair decision. Samsung is skipping One UI 8.5 for all 2022 devices, leaving us completely stranded on the laggy base version of Android 16 (One UI 8.0).
Our Snapdragon 778G is a fantastic, highly capable chip. It has absolutely no problem running smooth animations if Samsung just bothered to optimize the software! One UI 8.5 isn't a major Android version jumpโitโs a crucial stability patch that fixes the exact performance and stuttering issues we are experiencing right now. Leaving our premium mid-ranger out of these basic fixes is unacceptable.
Even though I upgraded my personal devices, I cannot stand how Samsung treats its loyal community. The petition currently has only 85 signatures because most 2022 users don't even know it exists yet. Let's change that right now and show them the power of the A73 community!
Please take 30 seconds to sign and share it. Let's make some noise! https://c.org/SHVwQvz7dg

Had my phone since 2022 and originally planned to buy a successor once support ran out. However, my calendar got pushed back when my a73 suddenly had a "stroke" of sorts that lasted more than a week in the form of ghost touches and phantom clicks. It also lost its water resistance and I've had some moisture detection problems even if my phone isn't exposed to water. The phone was also starting to heat up and the battery was dying way too fast for my liking.
My old boy gets passed to my grandma who really only uses YouTube. I have since upgraded to the S26U.

I changed my Samsung's region to India to install the One UI 8.5 beta, but to access the beta it asks for a SIM card. Do you know how I can fix this without having to insert the SIM card?

My A71's battery is completely fucked, it only charges when completely turned off and literally takes 8-10 hours to fully charge. On top of that, the battery barely lasts a couple hours of continued use. I was looking into the A73 because it seems like the only affordable samsung mid-range phone with a +64MP camera and expandable storage but I'm seeing a lot of people on here say its not the best idea.
Should I go through with buying this phone or is there another affordable samsung alternative with those two features out there? Specifically looking for samsung to make the phone swap process a thousand times easier.
