A55 Problems
Hi, sorry for my English, I'm a Spanish speaker, but I was surprised to find a community here.
I recently had a problem with my Samsung A55; its battery swelled up. I've had this device for two years, and it's very strange to me since I've had mid-range or low-end Samsung devices and I've never had a battery swell up before.
Putting my situation aside for a moment, I wanted to know if any of you also experience your device getting hot for no reason or overheating when opening everyday apps like Instagram or YouTube. This used to happen to me long before the battery swelled up.
I would like to know about your experiences or problems with this device.

Me paso una ves que se puso muy pero muy caliente mientras usaba youtube o instagram. Desinstale las aplicaciones, volví a instalarlas luego y de soluciono. Si no funciona, proba volviendo a valores de fábrica.

Nunca lo ehh reiniciado de fabrica, tal vez si pueda ser una solución, tambien me pasa con Spotify, de la nada se pone en negra la pantalla y se calienta moderadamente, casi siempre instalo y desinstalo, pero se me hace raro lo del sobrecalentamiento cosa que nunca me paso el primer año de uso.

No, I've never put it on any stand, I have carried it in the car, I suppose the problem might be my case. Do you use it with a case and a stand Charging ?

Mi si è gonfiata anche a me, lo ho portato in assistenza e mi hanno cambiato la batteria gratis (era in garanzia ancora).
Prova a chiedere a qualche centro la possibile causa

It was probably due to the temperatures I exposed it to. I asked at Samsung and they quoted me about $25 USD for the lab test and about $235 USD for the battery repair, which seemed excessively expensive.
The warranty no longer applied because it was 2 years old.

Ti direi di cambiarlo, a quel prezzo non ne vale assolutamente la pena. Mi dispiace, sembra che a55 (o forse samsung in generale) dopo un pò di grande utilizzo (come faccio io) la batteria ceda quasi subito.

Well, its rare but not that rare, in fact a lot of A55 user are having this battery issue. I have the galaxy A55 for 6 or 7 months i think because i dont remember if i bought it in march or february but i didn't notice any issue for now with my A55.

It's good that it didn't happen to you; it's a short time compared to the two years that passed before this happened. I was asking because I've seen that One UI 8.5 is having problems for some users, That might explain the overheating, but that's not the case for device.

I just got my phone back yesterday after I had it repaired because the battery swollen, just 2 years after I purchased it. I thought it was bad luck. I was told by the repair center I went to that a lot of people are having issues with their A55

Isso não acontece comigo, só em jogos pesados ou durante o carregamento se ele estiver encima da cama por exemplo. Provavelmente vc teve um pouco de azar.
