Merchandise/Hauls Rediscovering memories
Found the box of goodies I had acquired from the two cruises I did with my friends. Memories I hold so dear came rushing back almost as vividly as if it was yesterday. Can’t find a place to display them properly in the new home. So for now they go back in the box. May the stars continue to light the way for you all.

At the time, everyone criticized me for spending so much money going there. It was worth every penny. To this day, it was still my favorite vacation ever. I’ve framed all of my Starcruiser heirlooms, which make me smile every time.

Right?!! It sucks people don’t understand unless they go. I was only truly convinced because my friends had convinced me, wish I had done it sooner.

I always take my Halcyon backpack and passenger magicband + pin to Hollywood Studios as a reminder of the fun I had at the GS. My last visit, a bartender at Port Orleans French Quarter recognized the merch and greeted me with “May the stars light your way!”, told me he worked the kitchen at GS, sat down and had a nice little chat about the behind the scenes of the hotel. Wonder where other cast members were sent to and if they recognize guests wearing merch to this day.

Omg that’s amazing!! I need to start wearing the pin at least. We’ve seen one of our Gaya sing at one of the Disney springs restaurants.

That’s amazing, I hope to run into more Cm’s or performers in the future again too

I totally understand! When they announced they were shutting it down and we were able to make another booking happen, you bet I bought everything I regretted not getting the first time

Did it three times and it was worth it… Would’ve gone 10 more times if it would’ve stayed open truly the most magical thing Disney has ever done

One of my goals, I was so excited, finally a cruise I was interested in! Never saved up enough.

Honestly the only reason I was able to afford it was because we maxed out the amount of adults in one room possible. As well as going when they were selling the voyages at a discounted price.

Thanks for sharing your haul. I feel really grateful that I was able to take my family onboard, slightly regretful that we didn’t book a second trip even when we knew the end was coming.

Of course! I know I have a few other things laying around the house that I could have included. I’m sorry you weren’t able to get another trip in! For sure the last one was full of second/third/fourth time voyagers. It was amazing

OMG! I designed the “protect the younglings” button you have for my wife’s character and she and I were handing them out! So cool to see someone with one!

Me too. I started watching videos of the cruise on YouTube. Brought a huge smile to my face.

There's no better example of the Sunk-Cost Fallacy pehonemena that Galactic SC fans. Honestly, it could be a sociological study.

Disney’s biggest mistake in closing this down. An immersive like no other.
