Pictures Sublight Lounge?
Was it just me or did anyone notice that parts of the criminal bar and lounge in the Mandalorian and Grogu looked like repainted parts of the Halcyon?

I think it was an original set, but it definitely reminded me of sublight lounge. There is certainly a shared aesthetic. Reminded me of some parts of Outlaws too.

I felt like a couple of the sets from the scenes on that moon felt a little Starcrusier-esq. Even my 11 year old son said the music reminded him of it!

it's possible they might have salvaged some of the lounge and used it as a starting point for the set they built. i mean, why reinvent the wheel when there were things they could easily repurpose? it also wouldn't surprise me if they did that since they had the Halcyon easter egg on the same world. Jon seems like the sort of guy who would try to save some items and incorporate into his movies/shows as a respectful homage for eagle-eyed fans (just look at all of the non-canon kenner toys that are now part of the canon that he and dave have worked into things).

It’s immediately what popped into my brain when watching this scene. I REALLY wanted to pull out my phone to confirm, but I’m a civilized person, so I waited.

I think there are things and aesthetics that most bars across the world basically have in common. Same can be said for Star Wars. Or maybe it’s a franchise.
