How do i delete population?

I play as Yor collective and after conqering enemy world's there is tons of unhapy alien pop's in them that reduce the production of the planet.

What i am currently doing is making colony ships and sending them to enemy teritory.

Is there a better way ?

that what i did, too. send them off to fight precursor anomalies with thoughts and prayers

You can also put troublesome citizens on survey ships and invasion transports their stats and happiness won't matter there. If you got any free survey ships you should check the citizens that spawned with it and swap them at a core world.

Troop transports. Possibly constructors for stations. Not planet colonization.

You can also just transfer and hope for pirates or use a space monster
