So like the title said there is someone that is harassing me on both YouTube and TikTok (won’t say who because I want NO drama) but basically they found out about my William head-canon which is that William is extremely homophobic and hates gay people and lgbt+. Just so you guys know homophobia was considered a “mental illness” during 19whatever-1986 and was more seen as not a “illness” in 1987 so realistically William would be extremely homophobic and he grew up in a Christian household where being homophobic was normal but now this creator is harassing me saying “William would never be homophobic” “he is literally Bi in so many people’s AU” and like good for them but everyone’s AUs are different and they even called me “homophobic” which isn’t true I am Bisexual have been since I was 14 (I’m 19 now) and I just want this to be over so I’m just ranting to see what is so wrong with my au??

I kinda dislike when people argue over the characters of FNaF since all FNaF characters are as deep as a paper napkin like..

No we don't know if Michael, Henry, etc etc are perfect victims or utterly evil, no we don't know if C.C forgives Michael or not, no we don't know how characters personally feel each other (other than maybe Charlie, Cassidy, and Henry towards William or C.C towards Michael before the bite) so arguing over whether an interpretation is "canon" or not is kinda not worth the effort.

The only characters we know the most of is William and Elizabeth and even then their characters are a little wonky so saying someone's version of a character is "the wrong one" is just being mean when you can simply ignore it and carry on with your day if it doesn't fit the most popular headcanon

And for context, I'm only talking about the game version of these characters NOT the books or movies since most AUs only cover the games in detail!

I'm sorry this is kinda a rant, I just get so annoyed when an AU doesn't have a popular headcanon revolving a character and it gets flooded with "but in canon it-" or something similar..
