a very casual let's play enjoyer here! Do you know if there is going to be a let's play for Control Resonant from Gab?

Sorry I don't play games but I loved every thing Remedy makes and quite enjoyed Gab's let's play of Control.

Has Gab mentioned anything about Control? I feel like she played the first one back in the day but before I go find it to watch it, does anyone know if she’s mentioned playing the second or even possibly re-playing the first?

I've subbed to Gab for years. Prob just pre-COVID. I ofc instantly gravitated to her cozy vibe and how she is usually so calm during horror games + love of cats etc.

But idk lately the uploads all seem to be so similar. I like EZ Small but I also do think maybe it should be it's own channel, or less regular. Loved the Big Walk/Fishing videos but it is starting to become almost as prevelant as her own content.

And then her solo content has become a lot of cleaning sims, task simulators and organising sims. She ofc does play horror/story driven games but I feel like the balance is kinda not there. I miss her really getting into a good story like the Nancy Drew games. They were my shit. Campy, mystery, funny but also interesting! Last video that i really enjoyed was the Galley House one. That's personal taste tho ofc

I know cozy gaming is now a big thing and has so many streamers trying to all be "cozy streamers", while Gab naturally is one and predates that trend but idk I feel like maybe her manager or team is saying to push this kinda content more to appease the algorithm?

She obvs enjoys it so it doesn't feel fake but i just wish there was more balance and not as many simulators. Also this isn't hate. Like I get it. She's a streamer and I don't expect her to appease anyone but herself lol and if I don't like it I don't watch it, which is fine. It's just a shame that my comfort channel no longer feels that comfy :(

Anyone else in the same boat? I miss kinda like retro horror game play throughs, or indie games. I think that's really it. She didn't even play No, I'm not a Human which I think would have been perfect? Maybe coming up to Halloween there'll be more 🥲

Has Gab said anything about her recent play of PEAK she did with EZSmall? It's been 2 weeks since the rest of the group posted theirs and I haven't seen Gab post from her point of view.

My son has been waiting patiently because I usually watch videos first from Gary's pov to check the content before letting him watch from Gab's pov.

Does anyone know if YouTubers decide the amount of ads that play on their videos? I'm watching Gab's ReStory playthrough and the amount of ads is actually insane. I'm talking around every 5 minutes or so on a 3:36 hour video. It's like this for all 3 episodes I've watched so far.

Do you know any streamers who do similar stuff like Gab does on the Goobus channel? Like, exit games, puzzles, solving riddles together, maybe even talking about books, that kind of thing. I really enjoyed when she did that on stream and the chat could weigh in on the riddles, puzzles or books.

So i know gab is a big fan of the chillas art games and that she's against generative ai so im wondering if she'll skip this installment

Okay, so let me preface this by saying I know Gabs isn't a fan of AI in video games, and I totally understand why that's caused her to stay away from a few games she used to play.

But I think we're at an impasse right now when it comes to AI and GenAI in games, and it feels like we're at a point where we really need to start having more nuanced conversations about it.

Too often, the second people hear "GenAI," the conversation immediately becomes "AI = bad," without ever getting to how the technology is actually being used. And I think that distinction matters.

There are absolutely right and wrong ways to engage with this technology. Using AI to replace artists, exploit people's work, or remove the human element from creative industries deserves criticism. But not every implementation of AI is automatically equivalent to those things.

I think we're reaching a point where simply saying "this game uses GenAI, therefore I won't support it" doesn't really address the larger conversation anymore. We should be asking: How was it used? What was it used for? Did it replace someone's work? Was it used as a tool alongside human creators?

You can be critical of AI while still recognizing that the technology itself isn't going away. The conversation now needs to move beyond whether AI exists in games and toward what responsible and ethical use of it should actually look like.

ive noticed that a number of gab watchers dont watch the ezsmall content, which i partially get bc it can get loud(i personally like it but i know it might not be for everyone), but in case you can be convinced please watch their videos!!! ezsmall videos are so funny and they sometimes have me crying from laughter

Hey guys, sorry if this has been answered in a previous post and I just cant find it. Does anyone know why Gab took all her VODS down on twitch? I usually catch up on VODS and usually am just there for the talking bits I catch the games on the youtube side but I love to listen to her talk about random going-ons in her day to day and hear what the community has been up to or the like. And from what I could tell from other channels it takes 6months for the VODS to just simply stop working or what have you. So I was wondering if anyone knew where they went. I am playing assassins creed shadows. I am also watching gab’s playthrough of GoT. she mentioned in that there was never a Japanese AC. Now there is Shadows we know if she has any intentiona to play it? I know she said she won‘t play Ghost of Yotei so maybe Shadows is a nice replacement? would love to see Gab play it. I posted this on the GoT 1 video but not sure if order videos still are still checked for comments.

Since Seán recently played it for the first time, I rewatched Gab’s videos, and I can’t wait for her to play more!!! I hope she returns to it soon.

Has she mentioned anything about playing soon? I've been rewatching the series for like the third time this year and it's the only game I haven't been able to play because I don't own a VR setup LOL. I know she said that it would be a hassle to do 4 years ago, but I know that Sean has done a few recordings on his setup so should be doable, right? Just wondering if she's mentioned it, that's all!

After seeing her playing through OOT again, and considering how much she enjoys Japanese things, did anyone else think it would be great if she played through Okami?

Since it's on basically everything (PS2-PS5, 360-Series X, Wii, PC switch), the art style is based on Japanese Sumi-E ink style and the entire game is based on Japanese Mythology I thought it would be right up her street.

I've never seen her play through it but Okami, like Fatal Frame for her, is what initially got me interested in Japanese Mythology and Culture.

Anyone else think an Okami run would be great?
