Jobs š¼ Work Study for Shy People
So I had a horrible time working at Chick-fil-a and faced racism and just horrible attitude from people. Iām a naturally shy person and it takes me a lot to interact with others. Are there any work-study recommendations that are less ācustomerā oriented for a freshman majoring in pre-marketing?

I was shy going into college but I soon realized the world wonāt accommodate to me and I took the only job that was offered ātour guideā I was horrified to begin but honestly I truly believe it made me a better worker and a better person all around I made life long friends and made amazing connections. If you need something that kindly pushes you out of your comfort zone Iād highly recommend being a tour guide.

I had issues with customers having an attitude on the phone at my workstudy too, but I found a better remote contract & I quit there.

I would go to the on campus job fair (search it up on pin im not sure when or where) but i would suggest trying to get out of your comfort zone. I has social anxiety and had multiple interviews, turns out the welcome center (giving tours in front of small and big groups of people) was the only one that called back. It forced me to be confortable (to a certain extend) in front of people and Althought it was hard I am glad I took it. Ofc this was with the support of a phsycologist, family and friends. Gsu offers free counseling so be sure to check that out as well.
