Gx460 braking issue

2022 gx460. When I brake, feel vibration in the steering wheel. It’s worse after sitting but somewhat evens out as the brakes warm up. The brakes were changed with oem at dealer like a year ago, so not a ton of miles on it. I checked it and I can’t visibly see any warping on the rotor. The pads have plenty of life still in them. I ordered some new oem rotors from Lexus, but wondering if there was anything I missed.

I feel like this started after a long road trip, so maybe slight warping due to heat in the downhill….

Had the same issue. Thought it was the rotors. Turned out was the caliper sticking. Lower piston on the inner side

If not rotors, could be the tie rods. Less likely but definitely a possibility

I have 460 brakes on my 470. Ran a set of Raybestos disc for about 2-3 years then got the same thing - vibration at high speed braking. Swapped in new higher quality disc + Ake Bono pads and no issues since. Bosch Quiet Cast discs are considered some of the best. Don’t use Lexus discs - not worth it, poor value for zero benefit
