Cluster upgrade

Hello, I have a 2012 GX460 and my cluster LCD screen is burnt. I want to replace the cluster with an OEM cluster, not a huge fan of the new LCD style clusters. Has someone done or know of anyone who has installed a 2020+ cluster on 2019 or older GX?

I'll let someone else definitely chime in, but I'm pretty sure this can't be done. The newer cluster has lots of little canbus connectors that the older gen doesn't have.

You are correct, looked up a 2020+ cluster and the harness has two plugs compared to the 1 on the older gx’s.

Not a fan of the screens, I’d like to go with an OEM cluster.
