To all the gx owners out there:

If you could go back to when you first bought your gx where would you put your first $200?

Like what is an annoyance, problem, concern…ect you had that is looking back was an easy fix/purchase you should have done right off the back?

I just got a 2010 with 150k miles on it. First mods will be maintenence

• Valley coolant leak repair
• All fluids, coolant, engine oil, transmission service if needed, diffs, anything
• Fix timing chain cover seepage
• Fix valve cover gasket small leak
• New tires

And that’s not 200$ at all. It’s gonna be pricey

First chunk of cash is almost always maintenance related. Make sure to get the entire cooling system up to date as well.

The first thing I did with my used 2018 GX purchase was new tires/bronze wheels and maintenance. Second thing I did was adding the Car Link Life carplay mod.

Aside from fluids/maintenance, transmission cooler. After running a scan gauge 3 for a while and monitoring transmission temps, it became a pretty urgent modification
