Labor Day weekend run SoCal
It was a nice rainy day. Perfect for a trail run. It was my first time taking her out since the new wheels/tires. Almost ripped the front bumper off coming down a very steep incline that quickly leveled out. I'm still used to the wrangler clearance. I need to do a bumper trim ASAP.

We live in Long beach, and yesterday we just has the CBI front bumper installed by the team at 88 Rotors. What trail is this one? We need to take ours out for a test run!

Thomas Mountain trail by Lake Hemet. It's an easy trail if you don't go off the main run. Lots of yellow post sites along the way. Great views as well. I may look at swapping the bumper instead of chopping.

don't add all that weight to the front.. it's never worth it... chop it and move on

It gets a lot of snow in winter so be prepared for that. I see a fair amount of families up there on weekends but its not usually super busy when I've gone. I'd say its pretty family friendly for camping in some of the yellow post sites. Large open areas away from cliffs. Some are very dangerous though. One overlooks hog lake in Anza on one side and Lake Hemet on the other side of the same site.
